<p>With that said, I wanted to share my favorite line from the movie, <strong>&#8220;You don&#8217;t attract what you want, you attract what you are.&#8221;</strong></p>
<p>Those not fully familiar with the <a title="The Law of Attraction" href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=MUzCpSjP8s0&amp;offerid=139925.3&amp;type=2&amp;subid=0" target="_blank">Law of Attraction</a> may tell you that all you have to do is think about something and you&#8217;ll get it.</p>
<p>The real &#8220;secret&#8221; is to <strong>become </strong>the person that receives what it is you say you want and you&#8217;ll naturally attract it because you&#8217;ll be a vibrational match.</p>
<p>If you want good relationships, be a great friend.</p>
<p>If you have set a vision for your ideal body, but you&#8217;ve been struggling with losing that last 10 or 20 pounds or don&#8217;t seem to see any results despite all of your efforts, ask yourself this question: &#8220;Am I living every day as the person who is at my perfect weight?&#8221;</p>
<p>Do I think like that person? Do I act like that person? Do I make choices like that person?</p>
<p>It may be hard to think and act from a place you aren&#8217;t physically. But, this is the first step for change. If you are constantly criticizing yourself (big legs, pouched stomach, etc.), then you can&#8217;t help to receive more of what you don&#8217;t want.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Often times when I&#8217;m facing challenges in my life, I will find an inspirational book and ask to be lead to the exact paragraph that will help me.</p>
<p>The other day when faced with a challenge, I was drawn to the book <em>Spiritual Liberation</em> by one of my mentors, Michael Beckwith. </p>
<p>As I opened the page here&#8217;s what it said&#8230; &#8220;Many people believe that a challenge-free life is a happy life. However, life with its challenges stimulates our growth and development. Looking back over your life, you will have to admit that your growth was accelerated when you faced some form of suffering or pain that brought you to your wit&#8217;s end. Such experiences hold the possibility&#8230;</p>
<p>As I read further, I thought about how many times we have to be totally POed before we make any change.</p>
<p>So, that can be either good news or bad news for you.</p>

<p>If you are frustrated with your weight and how you feel about your body that may be the best blessing you have. That may be just the thing that will drive you to make 2009 the year you commit to changing your lifestyle, having more energy and creating a life you love.</p>
<p>It always sounds so cliché to talk about how this will be the year. But, you really can do it, just by making small shifts each day.</p>
<p>I have a sign in my office that reads &#8220;this one thing I do&#8230;&#8221; That reminds me that every great goal is made up of lots of small steps.</p>
<p>Just commit to make one change per day. Don&#8217;t try to tackle 10 years worth of bad habits in one week. You&#8217;ll end up getting disappointed and give up.</p>
<p>Decide right now that you don&#8217;t want to feel this same way next year and commit to doing whatever it takes to make a change.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve made that decision, you&#8217;ll start to be attracted to every thing that will support you.</p>
<p>But, the first step is always the decision.</p>
<p>Make the decision now for the life and body you love. You deserve it!</p>

<p>He mentioned that the problem with most people is that they try a technique, plan or proven strategy that has worked for someone else only once.  But, when they don&#8217;t see results after the first time, they abandon and try something else or even quit.</p>
<p>But, it&#8217;s just like riding a bike. You had to fall off several times before you mastered it.  If you are always starting and stopping, you never will achieve what you truly want. What if you had stopped after the first five times of falling off?</p>
<p>Exercise and nutrition are no different. Whether you are trying to lose weight, get stronger, boost your metabolism or burn fat, the first and most important step is action.</p>
<p>You probably won&#8217;t see results after the first time.  Or second.  Or third.  But, like anything, if you stick with it and just take small steps everyday, you will have more energy plus gain strength and confidence.  This extra motivation will keep you going to achieve long-term results in a strong body you love.</p>
<p>If you are focused on being perfect, especially the first time, you will only be disappointed each time you eat better and exercise and don&#8217;t see immediate results.</p>
<p>What small step will you take today?  Type it into your schedule and make a commitment to stick to it. How you feel about your body and how much energy you have effects every part of your day.</p>
